Review of the "My Leviton" App

Easy Installation and Configuration

Once you understand the wiring and have installed a smart switch/device using the app to configure the wifi connection to your home network, it becomes easier with each smart switch that you add. Highly recommend that you spend the time to thoroughly review the install documents and watch the installation videos available on the Leviton website. Then, install one device at a time, starting with the device you need that is the least complicated like a wall plug in before you attempt a dimmer.

Improved User Experience

Love the app and the devices! Have been using them both for 5+ years and they keep improving. Really happy with the products!! Very hard to understand directions, but after the first light, it is a dream come true. Very close to an automated lighting system, and it works great 👍.

Affordable Alternative

My friend has a house automation system and his lighting modules cost $140.00 per switch vs $40.00. Thanks 😊 Leviton (They have a great support team, don't hesitate to use it) Still working great on 5/15/23-3 years. Everything works, great products!

Easy Setup and Flexibility

Easy setup and lots of flexibility and options! I have 3 systems and am slowly switching everything to Leviton. Easy set up no problems at all, works with Google home or leviton app, 2nd generation is best for all round experience. Mine were all simple on off switch and plug in is best money for more than 1 light with extension cord. Would be nice if plug in had 2 plug in sockets and a switch to override what's plugged into it. Updates come automatically and you just ok the update.

Reliable Connectivity

I've tried 5 different brands of smart switches. Only Leviton stays connected to the network flawlessly and works from the app. I've been using this app for a couple of years. It was a little problematic at first but everything is second nature now. Setting up devices is easy once you've done it a couple times.

Convenient Control

Great wifi app! I didn't want the expense of Lutron, so I did some research and discovered My Levitron. Everything you need is on your phone. No more getting up to turn off the upstairs lights. Excellent overall app and ease of use. Was able to set up various light schedules through home dependent on our work schedules. Can monitor operate from anywhere internet connection available using cell phone. Switched out entire home with the various Leviton smart switches and receptacles. Motion, dimmer, 3way companion switches w neutral without neutrals, without 3-way inter-wiring connections. WOW amazing flexibility connectivity for every application I had.

Advanced Features

Brilliant lighting control system. Cascade from Device to Room Scenes to House Activities. Currently have around 90 devices with 17 4 Button Controllers. Set up as 2 residences, Main Rooms and Bedrooms. 4 Button Controllers used for managing each space. Would like to combine to one residence and add more 4 Buttons. Will see how far I can go before it breaks. Please add 8 button controllers to sell more dimmers!!

Easy to use, very handy to regulate lights even when we're not home. Added feeling of safety with a rise in break-ins in our area.

I love the new UI! I love having access to individual lights within reach room in one tap. Also, being able to rearrange rooms is great. Thanks!
